# How the MAYBE internship works

> MAYBE is a curiosity-driven internship, a Schülerpraktikum, for students in grades 10–12 in Berlin. They try real work, including on Saturdays, before they lock a study choice (Studienwahl) or choose university versus an apprenticeship (Uni oder Ausbildung). It is not a career test, and it does not replace school counselling.

Turn a “maybe” into something real.

## What happens in the internship?

A Saturday on a film set, a morning following a nurse on a ward, or an afternoon drawing in an architecture studio. You try that work in Berlin, notice what held your attention, and only then choose university or an apprenticeship. For grades 10–12: a Schülerpraktikum, not a career test.

## What if I already know what I want?

Great. Let’s put the idea closer to reality and see what survives. You may confirm the path. You may discover that one part of it matters more than you expected. You may change your mind. All three are useful outcomes.

## What happens after an experience?

We reflect with the student on what happened, what they enjoyed, what they disliked, what surprised them and what the experience may have revealed. Then we use that information to help shape the next step.

## What can follow the internship?
